Analysis modules

The side-by-side chart comparison is free; the four modules below need a pass.

Five Elements Balance

Both element distributions and how they complement each other — not counting quantity, but which element genuinely lands, read with each Day Master's strength.

Ten Gods Cross Map

Place the partner's stems under your Day Master to see which ten gods they become, then reverse; plus the spouse-star check (wealth for men, officer for women) in the other chart.

Match Evidence

Day pillar & marriage palace, natural roles, combinations & support, friction points, luck rhythm — every finding names the pillar it came from.

AI Marriage Analysis

AI weaves the full evidence into a complete reading, citing pillars and ten gods; keep asking follow-ups, history is saved.

What is BaZi marriage compatibility?

BaZi compatibility is not a lookup table of two zodiac animals. It puts two complete charts side by side: each Day Master's strength and favorable elements, how the Day Pillars and marriage palaces interact, whether the Ten Gods complement each other, which pillar positions combine or clash, and whether the two luck cycles run in step. It does not answer "should we be together" — it answers "where will this be easy, and where will it cost effort".

A real compatibility reading has three layers

1

Layer 1 · Each chart on its own

First read each person: which Day Master, strong or weak, what it welcomes and what it resists. Whether the two sets of favorable elements complement each other is the foundation — skip it and everything above is guesswork.

2

Layer 2 · How the two charts interact

Day Pillar against Day Pillar (the day branch is the marriage palace), the cross-mapped Ten Gods, and the combinations and clashes between all pillars. This layer is what makes compatibility its own discipline: two charts read separately still have to be computed again together.

3

Layer 3 · Timing in step

Luck cycles move in ten-year steps. Whether two people's cycles run in step decides which years feel easy and which take work — the same couple does not pay the same cost at every stage.

The six dimensions in your report

This is not a marketing checklist — it is the list the engine actually executes. Every dimension is required to cite concrete evidence: which pillar, which Ten God, which relationship.

Day pillar & marriage palace

The day stem is your Day Master (you); the day branch is your marriage palace — your closest bond. Combinations, clashes and punishments between the two Day Pillars carry the heaviest weight: palaces in combination signal standing together; a clash suggests the living-together pattern needs conscious care.

Complementary Ten Gods

Place the partner's stems under your Day Master and see which Ten Gods they become — then reverse the direction and read it again. Men look to Direct and Indirect Wealth, women to Direct Officer and Seven Killings: whether your spouse star appears in the other chart is the key marker here.

Five-element balance

Each distribution centers on that person's Day Master. When one side lacks an element the other has in abundance they can complement — but whether that helps depends on each Day Master's strength: a missing element does not always need supplementing, and an abundant one is not always good.

Character and roles

From the elemental relationship between the two Day Masters (generating, controlling, or same) and their relative strength, the reading draws out the natural division of roles and where the tension sits: who leads, who nurtures, where the pressure lands.

Friction points

Friction is a map, not a verdict. The analysis names where friction concentrates — communication, money, family roles — and which part of the chart it comes from, so you know where to spend the effort.

Luck cycles in step

Both luck cycles are computed independently and compared for rhythm, with a table of eleven annual pillars — five years either side of the current one — marking the turning points worth noting.

We do not score your compatibility

A single compatibility number can hide the evidence and weighting behind it. This reading shows its reasoning instead: each conclusion points to a pillar, Ten God, or chart relationship you can review. Use those signals to understand where your charts align and where a relationship may need more care; the reading does not decide whether two people should be together.

Not

"Your compatibility is 87 out of 100."

But

"His day branch Wu and her day branch Wei form a six-combination — the marriage palaces align. Their year branches Zi and Wu clash, so differences rooted in family upbringing will keep resurfacing — better to know in advance."

How the compatibility analysis is built

1

Gate 1 · Each birth time corrected on its own

Each person's chart is calculated with that person's birth date, time, birthplace, time zone, and available location coordinates. This keeps the time correction tied to each birth location, which matters when partners were born in different regions.

2

Gate 2 · The evidence is computed in code; the AI never touches a stem or branch

Every fact in the report is computed by deterministic code first: both sets of four pillars, the Ten God configurations (hidden stems included), the 16 pillar-to-pillar combination and clash checks between the two charts, and both luck cycles with their annual pillars. Only once all of that is done does it reach the AI — which is required to name the pillar, the Ten God and the relationship behind every conclusion. To recheck it yourself, pull up the comparison table and go pair by pair.

3

Gate 3 · Every conclusion must land on concrete evidence

Interpretive conclusions are linked to chart details such as a pillar, Ten God, or relationship between stems and branches. Symbolic stars may provide context, but a single star is not treated as proof of a specific event.

How to use

1

Enter your details

Your active profile is prefilled — edit it right in the form (applies to this run only) or switch to another profile.

2

Enter the partner's details

Pick someone from your profiles or type their birth data in manually — nothing is saved, run it any time.

3

Read the analysis

Start with the side-by-side chart comparison, then unlock the five-element, ten-god, and evidence modules plus the AI reading — and keep asking follow-ups.

Frequently asked questions

What does BaZi compatibility actually look at?

How two complete charts interact — not a zodiac lookup: the day pillars and marriage palaces, cross-mapped Ten Gods, five-element balance, and luck-cycle rhythm. Every finding names the pillar it came from, so you can verify each one.

Why don't you give a compatibility score?

A score cannot be verified: where the weights came from, why 87 and not 86 — nobody can say. We give evidence and reasoning; you verify and judge for yourself.

Our zodiac signs clash — can we still marry?

The zodiac is just the year branch. A year-branch clash points to differences in upbringing and family background that take negotiation — it is not a verdict on the marriage. What carries real weight is the Day Pillar interaction — the day branch is the marriage palace.

What if we don't know the exact birth time?

The birth time is currently required: the hour pillar joins the Ten God mapping and the evidence math. You can run once with what you know and rerun when you get the exact time — the findings will update accordingly.

We were born in different countries — how is time handled?

Each person is corrected independently: birthplace coordinates, time zone, and the true-solar-time adjustment never interfere across the two charts, so cross-border couples are never skewed by a shared convention.

Does the report use symbolic stars like Peach Blossom?

The match evidence is built on stem-branch relations, Ten Gods, and the five elements — not on star counts, and single-star pronouncements are ruled out.

What does the AI actually do here?

The charts and every piece of evidence are computed by deterministic code; the AI only interprets — and is required to name the pillar and Ten God behind each conclusion. It never touches a stem or branch.

Do the findings change over time?

The natal evidence (how the four pillars interact) never changes. Luck cycles and annual pillars keep moving, so the same couple meets different tides at different stages — the luck dimension updates with the current year.
